Ammo Magazine - Issue 8

Hi, hi and hi again.

I am very happy to be part of the latest issue of Ammo Magazine, a cute little illustration based magazine showcasing some of the most awesome artists around! Since there was no theme, I decided to go with the first thing that popped into my head, and this happened to include a character of mine called Wild Apple Boy along with his friendly bunch of Twagmidads. I felt a nice colour palette involving lots of greens would be nice. I do like a bit o' green. And I wanted readers to be able to tell their own story from the image. Anyway, enough blabber, I sure hope you like it, and if you haven't already, if you want to of course, go grab a delightful copy of this schaweeet ickle mag from here:
Go on, you know you want to ;)

Scrumdiddly Sketch Day 1 - A book & a cat

Hello and welcome to the first instalment of Lil's collection of daily Scrumdiddly Sketches! I hope you enjoy them, whether you're an illustrator, a friend, a stranger, or a pirate. For the record, each image is drawn straight into the computer using my trusty Wacom, and depending on my mood and the amount of time I have, will determine the direction the sketch takes. Let's begin with a Scrumdiddly Sketch based on a character who loves to read. And loves cats. (You could say it's an older version of the character in the post 'Amy reads' below...)
