So that time of year finally arrived...the time in which us third year illustrators at Falmouth held our breath ready to embrace what ever challenge lie ahead. Alan Male had spoke. Project X was set. I was to create a poster for a Pagan Society Conference incorporating the seasons within the image, taking into consideration summer/winter solstice etc... I decided to go for the vibrant trademark "glowy" effect that seems to creep into all of my work, utilising textures to give the final piece a natural, rustic kind of feel. Each quarter of the sun represents a different season, and the sun as a whole is meant to dominate the poster as it is such an important part of Paganism.
